 ... or perhaps even more
                rewriting /spacial
           reorientation:

                            a poem

           i am just back
                   from a marvellous
           family weekend

                            where i nearly
fell in love with a blonde
                            astrophysicist

         and having spent
               four hours in the pub
           this afternoon

                            noticed
                 somebody mentioning
                            ashbery

         he has two poems
               in the new lrb which
i am not keen to read

                            he strikes me as
a carpet poet reading his verse is like
                            struggling through

       a headful of gunge
i debate whether he is really
            a poet at all

                            but then
i didnt read his work before he got famous
                            i prefer frank o'hara

               who can be
       the most enjoyable fun
            and can write

                            a poem
