Presumably these are the bowdlerized versions. I was disappointed to hear on
the radio a few years ago that the John Adams (I think) setting of some of
the poems used these versions. And there was a one-woman play about her that
also used them. If you look for her poems on the net, you're just as likely
to find the bowdlerized ones as the originals - why are they still so
current?
