To anyone who might know, is Jean pronounced in the English or the French fashion? This might be a silly question . . . I'm reminded though of my old music teacher at Bell Baxter, who confesed that, in his youth, he pronounced Goethe as though it were a single-syllable word rhyming approximately with ''loaf".
