Although I love some music, & certain singer-songwriters, I believe poems & songs are different beasts. But if we're going to talk great song-verse, I'd recommend Richard Thompson, I'd recommend Iris DeMent, I'd recommend Lucinda Williams, I'd recommend . . . And I'd demonstrate my biases &, probably, my age, but wotthehell, why not? It's also demonstrated by my inability to 'get' rap etc...
