My tired words are usually first thing in the morning, when I do my email. Dammit. Though it's true I've used some of those despised poetic words. What are rules for? Can't help you with your general term, Deb - you could always try poets of the 90s, though I can't help thinking that it has a 19th century ring and for some reason makes me think of Vance Palmer.
