I have just been reading EDwin Morgan's Leopardi and Leopardi is not for me. The Carcanet translation is by J.G.Nichols. And with Erminia advertising her website (which my Netscape cant penetrate) I thought I would put in a word for my own poetry and the various poets I have collected over the years. An entrypoint would be http://www.bath.ac.uk/~exxdgdc/poetry/poetry.html My annotated selection from Robert Burns has received the most hits over the past five years. Around 100,000. Which is double that of my own work. And you can also get into the Lynx archive at http://www.bath.ac.uk/~exxdgdc/lynx.html where there are innumerable articles on poetry. Still much read. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
