They dont like me talking about this on the `british-poets' list but with JK's invitation I thought I would sum up for me what makes a poem. To me it is a `packet of information which unwraps itself upon the tongue'. Words for the sake of words are a bit of a dead end. I need emotional sustenance. Particularly in the shape of a story.
