Sad to hear of AD Hope's death, although I believe dementia had him in its grip. I only saw him once, maybe ten years ago, and he was already very frail then. A romantic poet masquerading as a classicist, I believe, and certainly worth revisiting. His poem on Leonard da Vinci's anatomical drawing of a pregnant woman is amazing.
