Matthew's reference to the physical space on the page brought to mind an essay by Michael Davidson: "Palimtexts: Postmodern poetry and the Material Text", in Marjorie Perloff's Postmodern Genres. And Blanchot's The Space of Literature also deals with poetry in terms of a particular kind of space--probably only obliquely relevant to spatiality as you're interested in it, but for me it opens up interesting ways of thinking about & envisioning space/poetry.
