I suppose I should complete my look at this thread by saying something about OLson. I have always found his idea of 'Gloucester' quite inspirational but have never seen him as a poet in putting it into practice. Over the years I have been lead to question whether he was a poet at all but Fred Beake assures me that hidden away in his work are genuine poems. THese may be later, but I am not sure.
