The 42nd conference of the Canadian Operational Research Society (CORS) will be held in Edmonton, Alberta from May 29 to May 31, 2000. The conference's theme is "Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources." It will feature lectures by Andres Weintraub (University of Chile) and Ralph Keeney (University of Southern California) as well as plenaries and tutorials by Tim McDaniels (University of British Columbia), David Martell (University of Toronto), Thorkell Helgason (Icelandic Energy Authority), and David Fuller (University of Waterloo).
