The molecular-dynamics-news now has about 1700 email addresses on it. However, many people are registered two (or even three) times, and some people are registered with old addresses that only reach them through a complicated series of forwarding. I would like to "clean up" the list as much as possible. This is an appeal to everyone to get a copy of the list and _check_ that their registered address is correct and up-to-date. The fact that you receive this message does not necessarily mean that your registered address is correct! To get a copy of the list, either point your Web browser to http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/names/molecular-dynamics-news/ or send an email message containing the line review molecular-dynamics-news to the address [log in to unmask] (please, please don't send it to the molecular-dynamics-news@... address itself instead of mailbase@...) It is best if the address that is registered for you is the one that appears in the "From" field of messages that you send out. If it is different, you will not be able to post messages to the list. If you need to update your address, you can add the new one yourself, just by sending a message containing the line join molecular-dynamics-news your-real-name to [log in to unmask] (substituting your name for "your-real-name", of course!) IF you can still send mail from the old address, you can remove it yourself by sending a message from there containing the line leave molecular-dynamics-news However, if you can no longer send from the old address, you will have to ask me to remove it by hand. Please note that out-of-date addresses DO cause me problems when they start to send back error messages, and I would prefer to get rid of them before that happens.
