The British Cave Research Association Annual Conference "Hidden Earth" is
this week-end in Bristol. It is still going ahead, so if you live nearby its
worth a visit. There are normally a few talks about mining, and there will be
mining books on sale. But there are lots of talks on caving and cave digs, which
after all is only another branch of mining. Details on

and trains are running as well as usual.
