Very interesting debate from mainly Adrian Pearce and Evan Price - it is good to see a defence of 'British' interest in mining history and it made me realise just how different things are in the USA / Canada. Also the defence of the British Cave / Mine Rescue was spot on. By the way Evan, please can you correct the date on your computer - its confusing coming back from a week-end away and getting all your emails in the wrong order! Roger
