Hi all, please let me add something to a very old thread: recently I found two aerial ropeways in Norway: The first one is located in Odda connecting the 'Odda Smelteverk' factory with the Harbour. It's length is about 500m. I t is still in operation. The works produce calcium carbide. The second one is a reconstruction of a 34 km long ropeway with wooden pylons (!) from the copper-mine in Folldal to the melting factory in Alvdal.
