It is the early volumes (the northern counties of England) which are out of print - as far as I'm aware those published by Exeter Univ. Press (Devon and Somerset onwards) are still available. Perhaps one of the mining history societies in the north (NMRS or PDMHS) could be persuaded to reprint them as a consolidated volume? If you are a member and think it's a good idea, contact your editor not this list.
