I've just had an interesting call from a concerned parent. Her daughter wishes to study Media Studies at 'A' Level but the school she attends doesn't offer the subject. The daughter will therefore have to attend a sixth form college to study the subject at the local council's expense. The council is only willing to pay if the mother can find a media/film/TV/broadcasting course that requires 'A' Level Media Studies as a pre-requisite for degree level study. We don't! Is there an institution that does?
