I have also found it gives results which are not entirely 'UK' (e.g. including .ie sites), and it doesn't default to grouping pages from one site together, like altavista.com does now. Voila (the France Telecom search engine) has also got a UK version (http://www.voila.co.uk/) which I rather like (although it is very *yellow* and not without the occasional oddity).
