European Colleagues --

In November, I received an inquiry from a PhD student in Italy who is
working on the Black Muslims (aka Nation of Islam) in the US. I gave her
citations for the few titles we have in our collection as well as
suggestions for other searching. Her professor, in a fax received today,
informs me that "this subject matter ... in Italy ... is not fully covered
by libraries" and that they "are facing a lot of problems in finding out
sources and books."

One title that we (and a number of other US institutions) have and that the
student is interested in seeing is:

Abu Sulayman, 'Abd al-Wahhab Ibrahim.
Munazzamat Ilayja Muhammad al-Amrikiyah : dirasah
wa-tahlil / ta'lif 'Abd al-Wahhab Ibrahim Abu Sulayman. --
al-Tab'ah 1. -- Jiddah : Dar al-Shuruq, 1979.
  208 p. ; 24 cm.

Is this held in any of your libraries? Do any European libraries have
other materials relating to the US Black Muslims and/or the Nation of
Islam? I will be happy to forward positive responses to the student and
her professor so that they can contact you directly.
