Is the paper in your office out of control? Then this popular workshop is
for you:

Managing paper
On 5 October, at Library Association HQ in London

A one day workshop for those wishing to take control of the paper they deal
with, this is a practical workshop which assumes no previous training in
managing paper.

How will this event help you?
It will enable you to reduce the amount of paper that arrives at your desk
and deal quickly and effectively with the paper you have.

By the end of the day, you will be able to:
*	reduce the amount of paper received to that which is essential and
relevant
*	use your diary as a planning tool to prioritise work and achieve
deadlines
*	keep a clear desk and working area, free from paper of every kind
*	find and access paperwork easily and quickly
*	effectively manage and control the volume of paper you receive
*	establish an effective filing system for your unit which is easily
accessible by everyone

Who will benefit most from attending?
Those who feel out of control with the paperwork in and around their desk.
People who want to have no paper on their desk at any time, except for the
tasks they are working on at that point, and to be able to find any piece of
paper relating to 'live' work within 30 seconds and completed work within 1
