Discover the difference in this new one day workshop: Leading rather than managing on 6 April, at LAHQ, in London The future of our services lies in the hands of our managers and their teams but how many of those managers consider themselves as leaders? Is leadership only for Tony Blair and generals or can it apply to all of us who manage others? This workshop will examine key leadership skills and seek to differentiate between those that manage and those that lead. It will help all those that are in positions of responsibility to consider their role and their relationship with their team. The workshop encourages an open and democratic leadership style with open communication and hands-on management. The programme will encourage much lively discussion and debate. As has been recognised by many organisations, line managers/team leaders are the key to future success. But how are they to lead effectively? What does this outlook mean for team members? What is it that frustrates team members and stifles their creativity? The key lies in learning to lead rather than manage. How will this event help you?
