Apologies for cross posting This is just to reassure everyone that the UKOLUG site *is* still alive and kicking. It has not passed on; it has not expired; it is *not* an ex-web site! You may have had difficulty connecting to the site yesterday and there still seems to be some problems today. It depends on which ISP you use. Several major sites including Barclays Bank and BT are also affected so we are in good company. Unfortunately there is nothing that we or our service provider can do about it:-((. Yesterday there were intermittent problems with routers on sections of INSNet and UUnet, two major UK connectivity providers. According to our tech support, there are still problems on UUnet. If you want to enquire about or confirm details of your attendance at next weeks UKOLUG conference and you suspect that your emails are not getting through or you cannot get onto the UKOLUG Web site, please fax or telephone Christine Baker on 01969 663749.
