The Collegiate Learning Centre at Sheffield Hallam University is being extended to improve the learning environment, and to provide extra study space. The final phase of building work is currently underway, and there will be some disruption over the summer. The Learning Centre will remain open throughout the work, but at certain times there may be limited access to particular areas or collections. The current entrance to Collegiate Learning Centre will be closed after today, for the construction of a new atrium entrance. A temporary entrance will be open from Saturday 27 May, via Gate B on Collegiate Crescent (this will be clearly signposted). Subjects covered at Collegiate are : education, health (nursing, occupational and physical therapies), communication studies, English, history, sport, law, psychology, social sciences (sociology, social policy), and TESOL Services at the Adsetts Centre (City Campus) and Psalter Lane Learning Centre are as normal.
