The Library Conference Planner -- LCP -- has been updated for November, 2000. Changes and new features include: -- conferences with online/interactive registration are indicated with ONLINE REGISTRATION in red font -- a few new US conference listings -- a link to the ALA Chapters webpage, in the "Conference Calendars" section -- Travel Desk updates and additions -- a revised, better organized and newly titled "16 Tips for a Successful Conference" section NOTE -- the ALA Midwinter Conference site has been active since about mid-October with online registration The LCP can be found at http://www.fiu.edu/~hastyd/lcp.html As usual, if you know of a conference or other relevant listings (including travel assistance) please send your suggestion.
