Everyone Some advance warning of changes to come. JISCmail will take over from Mailbase on the weekend of 25/26 November 2000, and all existing Mailbase lists, such as lihnn, will be transferred to JISCmail. Here follows some advise from JISCmail: Users are not required to do anything immediately as messages to lists and commands to [log in to unmask] will be forwarded to JISCmail for a time. The user will receive a warning about the change of name at this stage so will rapidly become aware of the change. As soon as possible after 27 November users should: Start sending messages to <LISTNAME>@jiscmail.ac.uk [ie in our case: [log in to unmask]] Start sending commands to [log in to unmask] Check on changes in user commands (see website: www.jiscmail.ac.uk) Reset any bookmarks in browsers which relate to Mailbase web pages to the appropriate page at JISCmail. You are advised to avoid using any Mailbase lists over the transitional weekend of 25/26 November. I will be sending out a reminder closer to the date.
