It's open to anyone, runs for 6 weeks, with a weekly online live discussion led by international presenters. The discussion boards will support the rest of the week with both an open all-course board and smaller private groups. I'm keen to bridge the barriers between different institutions. In a specialist interest like ours there is often no more than one or two people at one's own institution involved with at best a few sympathetic others. So this list and my online course debates will help us link. I'm also keen to bridge between formally registered students and amateur interest otherwise. So I have insisted that I be allowed to register who I want on this course.
