I think that ethics are a vital aspect of culture that need exploring.
Especially today when scientific discoveries outrace the time we have to
contemplate their impact. More anecdotally, I talk to many people who hunger for
meaning but have no idea where to find it. Yet every way of meaning making will
involve ethical decisions. If we are to live as societies, then we have to at
least agree on behavioural norms, whether we agree on universal values or not.
