I am modelling an offshore platform with mooring lines and I have problems when introducing loads on the platform: it seems that buoyancy loads are only aplicable with rigid elements, and not with shell elements, whereas wave loads seem to be ignored for rigid elements. Is that right?, how to simulate an inmersed body subjected to both buoyancy and wave loads?
