Hi All, I got this error in Abaqus: DISP. CORRECTION TOO LARGE COMPARED TO DISP. INCREMENT. Even after I decrease the minimum step to 10^-5, I still cannot solve this. I check the manu and the only thing left is to change the converge standard to a large number. Could someone give me a suggest on what is going on? What cause this happen? I use UMAT in this analysis. It does give me some satisfied answers for another kind simulations. And I verified the material on simple load condition. It performs exactly as expected.
