We are an institution with both FE and HE students. The provision for students with mental health difficulties in co-ordinated by myself ( disability co-ordinator). We run discrete groups and also offer support to students prior to their coming on a course, at induction and whilst on the course. We are able to offer support to students whose difficulties are not apparent until they are some way through their course with us. ----- Original Message ----- From: DONOUGH, Anna <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: 20 December 2000 13:32 Subject: mental health issues > We're looking at introducing mental health policies/protocols and have been > looking at various HEFCE funded initiatives in this area and other > institutions guidelines. > > Something that has come up is responsibility for producing and recommending > such guidance and support.
