How much of this is down to a lack of knowledge on the part 
of the assessor of either the course or the campus?  Is it 
possible for you to prime the assessor regarding issues 
which you can identify which the student might not have 
thought of and which the assessor would not know?  This is 
where we have found that co-operation between the 
institution and the Access Centre is vital and have been 
lucky in having very responsive people to deal with.  Would 
going back to the Access Centre with this 
information/suggestion bear fruit, perhaps - then they 
might add it to their recommendations and SAAS would 
presumably accept it.
