An article 'Spies among us'  in the 'Time' magazine 31 July, 2000 edition,
covers this type of cookie delivering program in alittle depth.  It will
probably be of interest to readers of this group as NETZIP are not alone in
this practice.

www.timeeurope.com is Time's internet address but I have not checked if the
article is available on-line.
