Two year appointment
GRADE: 1A SALARY: £ 16,775 - £ 25,213 per
annum
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE FUNDING FOR THIS POST
THE PERSON APPOINTED WILL ONLY RECEIVE A SALARY
OF A MAXIMUM OF £ 22,245.
VMART, funded by the EU Fifth Framework, is a commercialisation
project whose other partners are rural tourism agencies and
software and internet service providers in six European countries.
We require a researcher to specify and design an internet-based
framework for a virtual enterprise.
The successful applicant will analyse and model business
processes in different countries; define the architecture of the
infrastructure; assist with field trials and analyse the likely benefits.
This will involve European-wide travel. Applications are welcomed
from researchers with a good knowledge of internet technology,
systems analysis and small business. You must have excellent
written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work as
part of a team.
