Greetings!

We have been tardy in delivering the goods but the wait has been worth it...
we think.

This week we feature John Robert Lee, Saint Lucian poet, described by his
compatriot, 1992 Nobel laureate, Derek Walcott, as "a scrupulous poet".
While Lee's works are generally in standard English, "Letters", taken from
"Saint Lucian" (1988), is one of his rare dialect pieces.

In coming editions of "Storytime" we will feature Robert at the Barbados
launch of his latest collection "Artefacts", at the University of the West
Indies, Cave Hill campus on September 16th.

Link to the story at http://www.StarApple.com/storytime.

On behalf of Robert, "Enjoy!"

Mark
