Dear Colleague, The PKESG seminar at South Bank University was a success. 28 economists attended the seminar, some for the first time. The papers were excellent, with good questions from Bernard Corry, Ian Steedman, Paul Downward, Jan Toporowski, Flavio Comim, and others. Jan open the semianr welcoming the audience and commenting on SBU's hertiage of radical economics. Alfredo Saad Filho provided excellent local organization for the seminar, including a very good spread for tea/coffee/juice. For those who would like a copy of Alfred's paper, "Radical Theories of Inflation: A preliminary survey" you can e-mail him at [log in to unmask] Murray Glickman's paper, "Seeking Explanations not Preserving Theorems: Corporate financial gearing, confidence, asymmetric information, and the U.K. macroeconomy, 1963-1997" is also available. You can e-mail Murray at [log in to unmask] The next seminar will be at Manchester--the the reminder notice below. Hope to see you there.
