>seriously, given the hit and missness of communication if anybody has >any sense of what I might have been getting at I'd be curious, nay >keen, to hear. cris if you mean your proposal: > for writer / peer technician / programmer pilots to be set up. ... That is for writers working with new media ...to be able to develop a project with peer technical / programming collaborators. I'm aware that TrAce explore some of this. but I'd like to see a more residential and creatively based collaborations encouraged, facillitated, supported< this sounds good to me. My period of virtual 'attachment' to trAce included access to a technical 'mentor' but very little came of this (which I'm not knocking trAce, the thing was really good in different ways) one way and another because (I think) it wasn't set up with perhaps the depth of thinking and framework you're suggesting; and he & I hadn't much idea what to do with each other. Btw people might be interested to know that Helen Whitehead of trAce is running the first Arvon course on Writing on the Internet this summer, can't remember which centre. e %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
