Yes, like Geraldine, I was also rather dubious about the original posting. I heard Bernstein read in Leicester recently and found it a powerful and moving experience when I'd been expecting something very different. I just can't believe that all the people at the Bridge Street thing read that badly. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Sounds like a load of old list politics to me. I'd like another opinion. Or a more balanced account from the original poster. Cheers David
