Do you mind if I lift my eyebrows here, Henry?  In my admittedly very
empirical observations of the World etc habitation of homes occurs
equally as a masculine being.  I know, I know, I know, the home is where
the hearth is, and the hearth, except in my house, is womanspace, but
sometimes I do want to quibble at the immediate rhymings of womb and
home.

Perhaps David was talking about something rather more unheimlich.  It
seems to me that of all the arts, the most biddable to Fascism was and is
architecture.  Followed, I guess, by film.
