Hi All,
I have just
been listening to Nat King Cole on a CD he certainly new how to put over a
ballad and with Nelson Riddle backing it is shear class,he had a special voice
and you could always tell it was him singing.Some of the arrangements of Nelson
Riddle for singers like Sinatra and Cole brought out the best in ballads and the
same goes for the writers for these wonderful ballads.
Sintra
once said bless the musicians because without him a great darkness
would come over the land, how true.
