Having received a lot of useful information from the list about disaster plans (I'll post the results when I've finished my report), I need to clarify one issue. General advice is to immerse wet negatives and microfilm in clean water. Two points: 1. Does this apply to film as well? 2. Does it have to be distilled water? We have information on general conservation of films, but not emergency measures. Pleas respond off-list.
