Came across something I thought might be of interest in the light of
recent discussions.

One of the major players behind the TV programmes that we have
as a profession both enjoyed and worried about is a Genealogy
company called Achievements Ltd of Canterbury - see
http://www.achievements.co.uk/

There are more programmes to come - Channel 4 have
commissioned a series of Extraordinary Ancestors to be screened
in October. The company making the programme, Freeform
Productions, are currently advertising in local papers like the
"Glaswegian" to find interesting families to research.
