Some colleagues inform me that the codes should be listed as 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3 etc and others inform me that it should be 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc. I am of the school that says the 3 is just the section of ISAD (G) rather than the code for the element but there seems to be such a difference of opinion that I should consult a higher authority.
