SENIOR PHARMACOMETRICIAN

In accordance with the Company’s needs, the Pharmacometrics Group’s role is to design, develop and co-ordinate all human pharmacology studies aimed at assessing the Company’s compounds, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and tolerability or bioequivolence, and participate in the design and evaluation of later development phase studies where pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics is involved.
Job primary duties
Reporting to the Corporate Director of Pharmacometrics, the senior Pharmacometrician will assist in protocol design of exploratory clinical trials and other trials where PK/PD data are to be generated. The position will also involve the coordination, implementation and reporting of PK/PD data analysis, including modelisation and simulations. The successful candidate will ensure that each analysis is performed in line with Good Clinical Practice and regulatory requirements. He/she will also participate in project teams to ensure proper PK/PD input in product development.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have a PhD/post- doctoral fellowship which has incorporated data analysis preferably in the area of PK/PD. He/she should have several years in PK/PD analysis in the pharmaceutical industry, experience in modelisation and population approach and familiarity with c-GCP and regulatory requirements. Experience in clinical trial simulation would also be an asset.
