3 LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER POSTS - UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Medical Statistics

Applications are invited from medical statisticians for the post of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Medical Statistics in the Biostatistics Group of the School of Epidemiology and Health Sciences. The post holder will play a leading role in the development of statistical collaboration and provision of statistical consultancy services within the Central Manchester Healthcare NHS Trust and the Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility. The appointment will be made on either the non-clinical Lecturer (£24,227-£34,601 p.a.) or non-clinical Senior Lecturer (£32,510 -£39,718 p.a.) scales, depending on the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.

Senior Lecturer in Public Health

Applications are invited for the  post of Senior Lecturer in Public Health in the newly created Evidence for Population Health Unit of the School of Epidemiology and Health Sciences. 

The Evidence for Population Health Unit aims to develop methods for collecting and using data to improve the health of the population, developing an evidence base for Public Health analogous to that of Evidence Based Medicine.

Applicants can come from any discipline that can contribute to this mission, either medical or non-medical.  An honorary health service appointment will be negotiated if appropriate.

The appointment will be made on either the clinical or non-clinical Senior Lecturer (£32510-£39718 or £38460-£54770p.a. respectively) scale(s), depending on the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.
