Can anyone suggest useful references regarding homogeneity analysis (HOMALS) and nonlinear principal components analysis (PRINCALS); in particular how do I interpret the SPSS output generated by these techniques; for example, do the eigenvalues have the same meaning as in factor analysis (ie. eigenvalue / no. of variables in the analysis = % variance explained).
