IMPERIAL COLLEGE OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND MEDICINE Division of Primary Care and Population Health Sciences MEDICAL STATISTICIAN There is an opportunity for a STATISTICS GRADUATE to join the Statistical Consultancy Service providing advice to research workers on statistical aspects of medical research, including study design, analysis, interpretation and publication of results. The person appointed will teach on courses run by the Department. The Statistical Consultancy Service is part of the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, which has active statistical research and collaborative medical research programmes. The ideal candidate will have a MSc in medical statistics. Some experience in statistical consulting is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided as necessary. Enthusiasm, good communication skills and an interest in teaching and in medical research are essential. Salary range will be in ORS1/2 Grades £18,420 - £26,613 p.a. including London allowance.
