Thank you LECTURER/RESEARCH FELLOW IN STATISTICS Full-time for 24 months Required to undertake analyses on a programme of work based around, and including a large randomised trial of screening elderly people in general practice in the UK. The study is funded by the Medical Research Council and Health Departments. The post holder will take a key role in developing the analysis protocols and contributing to methodological research relating to cluster randomised trials. Applicants should have a post-graduate qualification in statistics and practical experience of working in medical statistics including experience of data analysis and familiarity with statistical and database software packages. The appointment is available for 2 years. The salary will be on the School's Academic scale, currently £18,714 to £32,493, per annum, with appointment at lecturer scale for sufficiently experienced applicants.
