Hello, When carrying out a sensitivity/specificity analysis for a diagnostic test, once you have calculated the sample sizes for these proportions, do you have to calculate sample sizes also for the predictive values positive and negative? or getting these PV+ and PV- out of the 2x2 constructed with the sample sizes for sensitivity and specificity?
