Submissions are invited for the Cochran-Hansen Prize, awarded by the International Association of Survey Statisticians for the best paper on survey research methods submitted by a young statistician from a Developing or Transition Country. The author of the winning paper will be invited to present the paper at the Seoul Session of the ISI in 2001 with expenses paid, and will also receive books and journal subscriptions to the value of about 500 Euros. The paper must be submitted to the IASS Secretariat to arrive by 30 November 2000.
