The successful candidate will join a thriving and friendly Division that has excellent links with other Divisions within in the School of Community Health Sciences, the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, and the Schools of Economics, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Sociology/Social Policy. The person appointed will be expected to work within the Research Strategy of the School of Community Health Sciences, and this offers considerable scope for candidates from different disciplines. We would be interested to hear from statisticians as the Division is involved in a number of large and complex quantitative studies. Senior Lecturer candidates will have a strong track record in research and evidence of successful research grant applications. Lecturer candidates will demonstrate clear potential for academic excellence. Salary will be within the range GBP 17,238 - 30,065 per annum (Lecturer scale) or GBP 31,563 - 35,670 per annum (Senior Lecturer scale), depending on qualifications and experience.
